Richard and Jill Holmes operate the Sea Wildlife experience. We are both qualified teachers and having worked in education for many years, came to the Highlands to run a croft (small holding) and operate boats. Richard skippers the boat and having worked Outdoor education for 40+ years has a wealth of experience both in practical boating skills and the marine environment. As Head of a Marine Studies Centre for 13 years he has a huge knowledge of the sea. As a Royal Yachting Association Yachtmaster Instructor, he has owned and operated Ventura Sailing for 14 years. As a Powerboat trainer he trains powerboat instructors and as a Dinghy Coach trains Dinghy instructors and Senior instructors. Jill is a powerboater and dinghy sailor and a working artist. During the Summer she looks after the booking office down at the harbour. As owners of a Croft we also work the Croft land. We have rare breed sheep, unusual hens and ponies. |

On this boat we offer exciting wildlife trips around Loch Gairloch. This is also used as part of the Royal Yachting Association Training Centre to offer courses to people who want to learn to drive powerboats |
